What are jelly masks?

Jelly Masks are algae-based peel-off masks that provide your skin with an infusion of key electrolytes which contains Potassium, Magnesium, Sodium, Chloride, Phosphorous, Bicarbonate, and Sodium Pyrophosphate. These elements are essential in keeping the skin healthy, moisturized, and in great working order. With 12 different Jelly Masks to choose from, along with highly-concentrated ampoules, we are able to truly customize your facial according to your skin type and concerns.

What is a collagen mask

Collagen is a powerful sheetmask that provides intense hydration, firms the skin, and reduces the appearance of aging. It improves the overall complexion by minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, restores moisture, and provides a healing effect to reduce redness and calm the skin.

FAQ on Dermaplaning

Does the hair grow back thicker? Definitely NOT! Fine facial “peach fuzz” is one of the two types of hair that everyone has. It’s called vellus hair and it’s the fine, translucent hair that you can see if you look closely on a woman’s face, chest, and back. The other type of hair is terminal hair, which is the coarser hair you see on the head, under the arms, in the pubic area, brows, and on the lower face in men. Because vellus hair is so fine and different from terminal hair, cutting it does not make it grow in thicker or feel stubbly afterwards. As long as the hair is superficial vellus hair, it will grow back at the same rate and texture as before the treatment.
What skin types and conditions can be treated with dermaplaning?
All skin types and conditions except active acenic skin with lots of bumps and uneven skin texture. However, dermaplaning may be used for reducing the appearance of pitted acne scarring.
How often can I have dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning can be performed once every 4-6 weeks.
Can dermaplaning be performed with a chemical peel?
Absolutely! We recommend a thorough skin analysis evaluation to determine the degree of skin damage and set realistic goals. The most successful skin rejuvenation results are achieved with a progressive program of peels prepped with dermaplaning.
Can dermaplaning be done on pregnant or breastfeeding women?
Yes. And we can even use certain chemical peels along with dermaplaning that are safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women such as lactic acid or our soothing peel which is enzyme-based.

Important information on dermaplaning

Small knicks and scratches may occur and may not be visible until the following day. While we are extremely careful when performing dermaplaning, due to the uneven surface of the skin, minor knicks are unavoidable. They are generally very small and superficial, and will heal within a few days.
