Why Choose Us

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is an effective treatment that rejuvenates the skin. Through a minimally invasive procedure, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface. These tiny punctures stimulate the body's natural healing process, resulting in increased collagen and elastin production.

We use a Health-Canada and FDA-approved microneedling machine called Eclipse MicroPen, along with sterile, one-time-use needles, to ensure your treatments are safe and your results are successful.

Microneedling - $375

Series of 3: $1000 ($333.33 each)

Microneedling promotes healthy cell turnover by creating micro-injuries that trigger the skin’s natural healing process. This stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, essential proteins that improve skin texture, firmness, and overall appearance.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT:

  • Boosts collagen to smooth and firm the skin
  • Encourages even skin tone and texture
  • Enhances firmness by increasing elastin production

What to Expect:
Your microneedling session begins with a thorough cleanse and a numbing cream to ensure comfort. We use the MicroEclipse EVO, a Health Canada-approved device, to create tiny micro-injuries that stimulate collagen and elastin production. The treatment typically takes 45-60 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

For best results, multiple sessions are recommended, along with a customized home care routine to maintain long-lasting benefits.

Microneedling FAQs

What are the benefits for microneedling?

Microneedling promotes the production of collagen which has multiple benefits like reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and reducing pore size. This boost in collagen production also improves skin tone affected by sun damage, hyperpigmentation and acne scars. Since microneedling creates micro-tears in your skin, you’ll notice your skincare products will better absorb into your skin –this is the best time to use a hyaluronic acid serum.

Am I the right candidate for microneedling?

While microneedling is an incredibly effective treatment, it is not for everyone. Here’s the ideal candidate for microneedling:

  • Have not used Accutane or isotretinoin within the last 6 months
  • Do not have open wounds or cuts
  • Do not have active acne, rosacea, inflammatory skin conditions or skin infections
  • Are not pregnant
  • Do not have a history of poor wound healing
  • Have fine lines or wrinkles
  • Have acne scars and large pores
  • Have uneven skin tone or pigmentation

Is there any downtime after microneedling?

While the side effects are minimal, you don’t want to schedule your microneedling treatment before an important event. After microneedling you may experience some minor swelling and bruising which will go down between 1 to 3 days. Additionally, you may experience some swelling around the eye area, inflammation, itching, burning, and possible breakouts.

How should I prepare my skin for microneedling?

  • Avoid suntanning
  • Avoid retinols and vitamin A for 5 days prior to treatment
  • Prepare your skin with medical-grade skincare before and after your procedure to achieve the best results
  • Please advise us prior to treatment if you have suffered in the past with cold sores on the skin or lips. This viral infection may be re-activated in these areas by any injection treatments. You may be required to take an anti-viral medication such as Valtrex on the day of your treatment and for several days after your treatment.

How many sessions of microneedling do I need?

We recommend 3 to 6 sessions spaced 1 month apart for the best results. Afterwards, you can maintain with one or two sessions per year.

What can I expect during my microneedling treatment?

You will have filled out your intake form prior to your appointment and have had a thorough consultation with our medical aesthetician

We will thoroughly cleanse your skin following with the application of a topical anesthetic to keep the procedure pain-free

We use a medical-grade hyaluronic glide that will penetrate deep into the skin through the micro-channels to hydrate the skin

The treatment should be fairly comfortable and last about 15-20 minutes.

Once the microneedling is completed, we will apply the appropriate products and will recommend aftercare products to promote healing
