Laser Hair Removal FAQs
Is laser hair removal permanent?
Laser hair removal primarily reduces hair growth rather than fully removing it. With each laser hair removal session, you will observe slower and thinner hair growth for many years. We do, however, recommend touch-up sessions to maintain your results due to the effects of hormones and aging on dormant hair growth.
Does it only treat dark hairs?
Yes. Our lasers can only detect the brown or black melanin in the hair follicle, so unfortunately, it will not work for grey, blonde, or red hair.
How many sessions will I need?
We suggest starting with a series of 6 sessions. Once the 6 sessions are done, we can continue one session at a time, up to 12 sessions, until the desired results are seen.
How much is a session after my first series of 6?
After you finish your series, we offer 50% off the single session price to continue, up to 12 sessions.
Will it work if I have dark skin and dark hair?
If your hair can clearly be seen on your skin, then we can treat it. However, for clients who are Fitzpatrick IV to VI, we suggest doing a patch test prior to booking.
