Who Should Book It, and Who Should Not
Genesis suits almost every skin tone, which is one of its advantages over pigment-hunting treatments. Because the laser targets water and vessels rather than melanin, deeper skin tones that are not ideal candidates for IPL are often excellent candidates for Genesis. It is a favourite for guests in their late twenties to forties who want prevention, and for anyone whose main complaint is redness rather than brown spots.
We postpone or redirect the treatment when there is an active skin infection or cold sore in the area, a fresh tan we need to let settle, pregnancy, or the use of strong photosensitizing medication. Can I Wear Makeup and Train After a Session?
Makeup is fine the same day once the skin has cooled. We suggest skipping hot yoga, saunas and hard workouts until the next morning, simply to let the mild warmth in the skin settle.
Is It Safe for Darker Skin Tones?
